Yu Ishikawa (Ishi)
Ishi graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2012.
Ishi has worked at Hutt Hospital as a dental house surgeon, working closely with a maxillofacial surgeons and gained experience in oral surgery. He has also worked in private practices in both Wellington and Rotorua before settling down in Alexandra.
Outside of work, he spends his time with his young family. He likes to travel and enjoys sports especially snowboarding, mountain biking, squash and scuba diving.

Lauren Reynoldson-Ross
Lauren graduated from The University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours and is extremely excited to be working in Alexandra. She has a keen interest in restorative dentistry and focuses largely on good patient experience.
You can easily spot her about town in her fun coloured scrubs. Outside of dentistry, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and she loves a good fantasy book!

Chanelle Gibson
Chanelle graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Otago in 2019. She worked in Hawke’s Bay for four years before trialing central Otago as a locum in May 2023.
Her goal is to provide high-quality care while educating patients on achieving superb oral hygiene, ensuring they maintain healthy and long-lasting dentition. Outside of the practice, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, attending live music events, and exploring the outdoors—whether hiking or by the ocean. She grew up on a small dairy farm in Dargaville, Northland so knows a thing about hard work and getting your hands dirty

Bruce Jiang
Bruce graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2022. Since then, he has worked in Tauranga and Wānaka before settling in Alexandra, where he’s excited to be part of the local community.
Bruce is passionate about providing high-quality dental care and takes the time to offer thorough consultations and treatment. He values helping patients feel well-informed, comfortable, and confident in their care.
Outside of dentistry, Bruce enjoys skiing in the winter and running in the summer. You might also catch him playing a tune on the piano in his spare time!
